The BCC del Garda – Lugana Festival Cooking Competition, ‘Lugana on the Plate’, is open to all chefs working in restaurants, trattorias and hotels with on-site dining facilities located within the municipalities of Sirmione, Desenzano, Peschiera, Lonato and Pozzolengo (the municipalities that make up the Lugana D.O.C. production area).
To take part, entrants must create an original, bespoke recipe for a starter, in which one of the ingredients must be Lugana wine – the undisputed star of the Lugana Festival.
