Ornella e il jazz – Sara Longo Quartet EN
October 17 | 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Sara Longo is an Italian singer who grew up in France surrounded by jazz, swing and Brazilian music. Having returned to live in Venice in 2020, she now divides her time between Italy and Paris in pursuit of her artistic career.
In Venice, she founded the Sara Longo Quartet, with whom she recorded the album *Ornella e il jazz*, a project that reinterprets some of Ornella Vanoni’s most iconic songs through the language of jazz.
The concert will alternate between original interpretations and arrangements from the Milanese singer’s repertoire and jazz standards and original compositions, performed in English, Italian, French and Portuguese.
Joining Sara Longo on stage will be Paolo Vianello on piano – who was Ornella Vanoni’s pianist for ten years – Alvise Seggi on double bass and Adam Pache on drums. A fresh and refined jazz experience, for a concert that spans different repertoires, languages and atmospheres.
